Whoopee!
We pretty much
finished everything last weekend and then came the 'fun' part of
sorting, organizing and just enjoying the ambiance of my new little
Chinra Studio.
Here are the
latest photos:
We had a damaged
piece of the tackboard left
so Eb decided to neaten it up and put it up too
as he knows I love pinning up photos and favorite things

2010 is the 2nd year in a 9 year cycle for me and
all about 'recognizing and honouring my strengths'.
(I'd say this Studio
is a testament to THAT!!!!!!!!!)
Found this
wonderful tall light
and put it on a remote control
so I can turn it on from the step
before entering the Studio.

I fell in love
with this rock and entry idea when
I saw it in a book years ago . . .
and
what a hoot . . . this attached garage
came with
its own little entry rock step!
It's
completed and I am beyond
excited!
P.S.
As
my Studio Gift,
I ordered a sakiori obi handwoven of silk shreds (from Kimono) as
the weft and silk threads for warp. It's always difficult to tell
from colours on the computer monitor what it really is, but the
yellow and brown are perfect! It is from the Taisho or early Showa
period (1920s~1940s).
It
arrived today after I had taken the other photos, so here it is
in all its 'fabulous-ness'
and displays well on the old garage door runner!
