Happy New Year!
I hung the
2010 calendar I got from Jeanne
Williamson a mixed media artist. It looks fabulous on the orange
wall in the laundry ~ for
the next little bit ~ art workshop room!
Last night I used some more dye discharge paste on the rest of the
Gees Bend fabrics. I wanted to try something a little different,
so used a wire shelf for template and put the dye between some of
the spaces.
While wet
After drying
and steaming
It's
sort of like planting bulbs in the fall . . . it's always a surprise
to see what comes up because usually I've forgotten where/what I
put in!!!!!!!
Here
are the others:
I
really like the red. Wish I had more of that fabric as it would
be a really neat jacket lining!
Not
sure what I will do with them yet but it is fun to lay them out
so ideas can percolate!
