About eight years ago,
I first experienced the sounds of Quartz Crystal Singing Bowls
and have had them around me ever since . . .
(at one time I had 33 in my own private collection
and
became known as “The Bowl Lady” !!!)

Some people might term it as ' taking something to the extreme’,
as every room in my home housed a Singing Bowl
of some shape or size!
For me, EXPERIENCING is the surest way to learn!

I LOVE Big Bowls!

Some years ago, a friend in South Australia shared with me the idea of
‘perpetual choirs’. It seems that throughout the European continent in ancient times, groups gathered to chant ‘perpetually’.

In Glastonbury alone there were 2400 people involved . . . 100 an hour would go
into the sacred temple and chant ancient tones, then the next 100 . . . then the next . . . continually chanting.

And in the opinion of the English man who has written about this ancient technique . . .
"chanting is what ‘held’ the en-chant-ment vibration of Camelot"!

Each crystal bowl is made of 98.9% silicon quartz and their pure tones vibrate
our body because our bodies have a natural affinity to quartz. The human body is composed of many crystallite substances: the bones, blood and DNA are
crystalline in structure as well as the liquid crystal-colloidal structure of the brain.
Even on a molecular level, our cells contain silica, which balances our electro-magnetic energies, and this is the same formula as natural quartz crystal.

Many cultures recognize the importance of music and sound as a healing power.
The priests of ancient Egypt knew how to use vowel sounds to resonate the energy
center or chakras of the body. There is a direct link between different parts of the
body and specific sounds. During the time of Atlantis, the power of sound was combined with the power of crystal.

The American psychic, Edgar Cayce and the German philosopher, Rudolf Steiner both predicted ‘pure tones would be used for healing before the end of the 20th century’.

The frequency at which an object or person most naturally vibrates is called 'resonance'.

The chakras, bones and organs in the body all possess a different resonant frequency. When an organ or part of the body is vibrating out of tune or unharmoniously, it is
called a "dis-ease". A body is in a healthy state of being when each cell, each organ creates a resonance that is in harmony with the whole being.

Sound by-passes our intellect and touches our emotions . . . and it is there that healing can occur.

Sound opens us up. It truly is Vibrational Medicine.* Our frequency vibration has governed our perceptions and thus, our truth. The body is made up of cells, cells are
made up of atoms and atoms are nothing more than vibrating frequencies of energy.

The single biggest factor in letting in more energy is to do so through our cells.

The use of Quartz Crystal Sound goes hand-in-hand with any type of Body Work, Meditation or Relaxation Technique.

We need to let go of the body’s ‘gunk’, its stuck emotions, its perceptions, labels,

The Latest! (February 2010)

Since I bought a little house and we have spent the last six months
fixing it up, the Bowl Room
for awhile
shared space with my sewing machines
and all my fabric.
Just this past week we finished my Sewing - Creative Space
and NOW the Bowl Room is complete also!

Perhaps because it is a smaller and more 'enclosed' room,
the sounds are really awesome!
A laugh creates a vibration that begins the bowls singing!!!

They almost 'play' by themselves now . . .
