A
few years ago when I was on the Eating for your Blood Type Diet
I found
out my blood type was the 'hunter-gatherer' type. I'd have to agree,
especially now that we are keeping an eye out for reclaimed building
materials!
About
a month ago a friend who is building houses in Yreka stopped by
and had behind his truck a dump trailer full of wood scraps that
he said would just go to the burn pile . . . "WRONG",
Eb said . . . "they can find a home here and I'll find a use
for some of it".
So
. . . we inherited 3 huge piles of scraps of all kinds . . . and
that was before 'the old red barn' was even on the radar!
We
just came in from sorting what was usable and what would eventually
be known as scrap!
Amazing
how much waste there is in building now-a-days but we'll sure put
it to good use!
