'Chinra-Minka' ~The Old Red Barn

Me Musing . . . December 20, 2009

We have had fog, sun, rain . . . and just a dusting of snow in the mountains we see from our windows. Doesn't look like it will be a 'white Christmas' here in Aetna, USA this year!

My rusted fabric is still 'cooking' . . . if I can wait that long, tomorrow is the big unwrapping day. But here is what it looked like after just one day . . . some friends that stopped by yesterday thought I was doing smoked salmon!

The orange wheelbarrow is filled with goodies . . . sure comes in handy moving the wood from barn to woodstove!

Friday I got to use the Sawzall to cut the opening bigger in the Alley Workshop so the second window could go in. Eb has always hidden it from me as he feared I would start opening up walls in the house!

The second window is now installed . . . what a difference!

Last night I began cutting out fabric for a duvet cover ~ will be sort of quilt looking. While handling some of my fabrics, I decided I wanted some colour in the breakfast room . . . or maybe it was the influence of tomorrow's Winter Solstice and the 'return of The Light'!

I used the fabric I had bought in England in 1997 . . . really warms up the area.

Other than that, not much going on here . . .

Until soon,

Che'usa
